Blue Tilda Notebook

I would like to share this project that I have made with triple purpose...Yay I do love to multi-task:0)
I have made this for the Magnolia-licious Blog Hop project in the hopes to win a mini album....which look awesome! Each lady along the hop has decorated their album and they are just way COOL! I don't own many mini's but this could be a great start...worth a shot! For my project I have gone off to look for some inspiration; and what better place than TOMIC challenge...yup I have used their sketch and the picture is just so elegant and cool that I have opted for more fancy papers and very cool blues:0) Now my last purpose for this project; is for a gift. My son picked out a note pad for his teacher and I have decided to glam it up some. So here it is, It is quite small something like 4x6. I am really happy on how it has turned out.
Here is a closeup of Tilda with Pencils; I have given her golden hair since Mrs. Johnson has blond hair. I thought it was a nice touch:0) She is colored with Copics and then given the Shimmerz effect on her dress.
Last here is a peek at the inside where I will have my son write a quick note to give to his teacher. I really hope she likes it and uses it!
Thanks for stopping by :0)

Pumpkin Moodie

Hello Ladies! Tuesday again...really...again! Wow time does fly. Well Tuesdays are extra special because they mean a new challenge up at Top Tip Tuesday. And this week it is to use two or more ribbons(lace, twine and fabric all count too) so this should be a real easy one and I really hope to see you ladies join on the fun. Heike has done a fab tutorial on ruffled ribbon border. You can check it out HERE! Okay so before I go on with my card; I want to warn you; it is ribbon galore and I really did spend some time doing it. So I hope you can see what I have done. I will call it ribbon weaving...cuz it is woven like a basket would be. I have kept the card very simple because the ribbon is quite beautiful on its own.
Here is a closer look at my image "Moody in the Pumpkin Patch" from Paper Makeup Stamps. Okay so I am really loving this image with all those pumpkins and her cute coat and that oh so warm scarf...just loving it! And for a limited time you can snatch her up for the lowest price I have ever seen for rubbah....she is only $1.50....can you believe that?
Here is a look of the inside panels. I have also made a matching tube filled with candies and adorned with the same ribbon and paper as in the card.
And last a closer look at the tube. The button on the top of the tube and on the card front are a gift from a blog friend Maria; thanks for the crafting goodies and your super adorable tag...saludos amiga:0)
Thanks a bunch for stopping by :0)

Solo para TI!

Today I would like to share a card that has been on my desk for the last couple of weeks. My sister in law asked me to make a card for her; she chose the paper and image and the rest was up to me. I had been so busy with work that I hadn't had time to make this post so I will make it Short.
Here is a closer view of the image: Sweet Love by Belles 'n Whistles. I got this stamp on my shopping spree of when I won on Simon Says Challenge. Glad that I finally got the chance to use it! I colored it with Copics...I lost track of the colors I used...they were so many! I cut my image out and gave it a scalloped border using my nesties...ah just love them!
I love making these collages on Picasa! You can take a peek at the inside of the card.

Cowboy Cutie!

TUESDAY again? Man this past week has flown by! Where do my days go? Anywho Tuesdays are always a good day because that means a new challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday! This week we would like to challenge you to make 1 for the kids. We were so fortunate to have a pick at  Karen's Doodles images and I fell in love with this little cowboy! Oh just look at him; he is such a cutie. If you know me at all you will know that I have a major weakspot for cowboys...and this one has melted my heart! You can find Rootin Tootin Cowboy at KD!
Now this card is a bit special because it has a gift incorporated into it. There is a tutorial available at TTT for a card with a tear off bookmark done by Elaine. I have taken this idea and taken it in a different direction. I have made the last panel also a tear off but instead of making it into a bookmark I have added a double sided panel of stickers. Here you can see the card all opened up; I tried using up as many of my scraps as possible hence the panel with the frame it is scraps from my image.
Here is a better view of the folds and where the stickers are positioned.  I just hope that when this boy gets the card he doesn't go about putting the stickers on the card!
I hope that you have a chance to visit TTT the ladies have done some amazing creations and we have a few guest designers too. Also if you take part in the challenge you will be in for a chance at a prize from our sponsors Sew Sweet(new) and Karen's doodles.

For this card I would like to enter in the following challenges:

Truly Scrumptious - #65 decorate the inside
Have an awesome day!

Apples Just for YOU!

Today I would like to share this card because it is my goal to use all of the stamps that I have won. I had actually thought about making a goal of not buying any stamps until I had used all of the ones that I have already...but decided against it fast! I am trying to use more of my stamps and at least show that the ones that I win; I do use! So I am on a mission!
Here is a closeup of Apple of my eye available from Funky Kits. She is oh so sweet and I really like her as the traditional bring a teacher an apple...well how about a bag full? I have colored her with my copics and am really loving the blond hair green eyes look!

Here is a closer view of the tag and pins. I have doodled on all of my pieces because they seemed  to be missing something. I think it really did the trick and hope to try it again with a thicker pen:0)
I have followed the sketch from the Sugar Bowl; and think that I must use this one again!

I would  like to enter into the following challenges:
Sugar Bowl - sketch
Card Cupids - Anything Goes
Crafty PadDiamonds
Fashionable Stamping Challenges -Tags

Tis Friday; and that means time for a FREEBIE over at Paper Makeup Stamps and it is a good one I tell you!

    Here is my card:

It came together quite quickly. Things just kinda fell into place...always nice! I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday ; it is almost always my first stop for a sketch. I also followed the colors for the current challenge over at Little Darlings: Brown and Red.

On the picture here on the bottom you can get a better look at those folds in the ribbon and take a nice peek to the inside of my card.
Okay so I had been looking for a nice swirl stamp to add around by images and just to add that extra something. So I have found it! It is actually Swirly Tree from PMS; oh I just love the swirls, so so pretty for sure you will be seeing more of it!

    Chocolate Box Tilda

Today I would like to share something that I made as a thank you gift. It is a little triangle box filled with Hershey kisses. This little box came together quite quickly; since I had the inspiration from of my favorite challenges. The colors were chosen from TOMIC Challenge # 15 ~ Chocolate and brown & cream
using a cooking image. With my coloring I tried doing the high contrast to join the icopic challenge.

Here is bit of a side view of the box; I used acrylic paint with my clear stamps to make the thank you design on both of the side panels. I really enjoyed doing this; it is part of the Make It Monday #32: Stamping with Acrylic Paint will def do it again! Papers are from PTI including my stamping paper:0)
Here is a closeup of the image and you can also see my flower bunch; just added a bunch of different ones from my stash; oh and I had to add a wooden button! I love this Tilda; she is just way too cute with that wooden spoon!

I would also like to join in the following challenges:

    Purple Easel BOX

Okay so I am totally addicted to making these little boxes. They are so easy and fun to make I just cant stop; I have made 4 now; one for my son to paint on, one left to finish off later, and this is the second one shown on my blog. For the tutorial follow THIS link; it will take you to Top Tip Tuesday.  I have used cheap watercolor paper for my base and I really like it. My image is Melissa Fairy from Paper Makeup Stamps; ain't she a cutie? And she is on sale! I would highly recommend visiting this web store and checking out all of the super cute stamps; they are so affordable and such good quality you just can't pass up! Oh and our release was yesterday so if you do the hop you can collect a discount phrase that will give you 15% off your entire order. How can you beat that!?! Discount on top or really great prices! Oh and shipping is so reasonable; I am truly happy that I found PMS and so fortunate to be on the DT!

Okay so back to my card/project; I made this for the Makeover Challenge which is Back to School; you  have a week to enter so check it out HERE.
Here is a bit of a side view of the box; as you can see I have used up scraps from my PTI paper. I have kept it fairly simple only adding a bit of embellishments here and there; but I feel they get the job done. I have added two buttons I have been hording! They are so sparkly and pretty in real life.
I have made these 3 corner bookmarks to go into the box; this project is more like for a college student going back to school or even as a gift for a teacher.

Before I go I would like to remind you this week we are celebrating Top Tip Tuesday turning ONE; so there is a whole lot of prizes to be won(about £200 worth)! Baby Shelby; PMS Blog HOP

You should have hopped from Tangii's Blog blog; if not you can start the hop at PMS Blog.

Here is my card for today; I am using Shelby Silhouette. I am so glad that this release had baby/kids in it. My sister is pregnant and we just found out that it might be a girl, also my cousin just had his first baby; and yup it was a girl. So this card will be going to Samuel and Natalie; Congrats you guys! You can find Shelby at the PMS Shop after the release party today!

I have done a double stamping technique; which is simply to stamp off the image then stamp with the left over ink onto the cardstock. I like how it is see through, much softer. I also have given the silhouette a nice coat of shimmerz, I like how this second picture really captures how shiny it really is. I have added stickers like crazy and just about anything that might fit....again I couldn't just stop.....I even added a flower that my grandma made me; I truly hope they can cherish this card for a long time:0)
Well, I won't keep you any longer; your next stop is Lisa K. Oh and before i forget your letter for the discount phrase is: A

Really hope to see you at the party tonight it start at 6pm PT. Remember to bring a friend so that you both can win some rubba! It will be fun; I promise:0)For more details please visit the PMS BLOG

    The Art of Living

Today I will be sharing my creation to meet two of my DT obligations. First of all it is Tuesday which means it is a new challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday; which is......Easel or Box Easel Card. Plus this week we are celebrating TTT turning ONE; so there is a whole lot of prizes to be won(about £200 worth)!
Today is also the last day of Sneak Peeks for Paper Makeup Stamps and tomorrow is the HOP and Release!  I really enjoyed making this creation and you can see an easy to follow tutorial HERE on how to make this box.

This word art is from PMS and I truly like it, Love the meaning and the bold ART word and even that little swirl...oh so cute! I have made it my focal point and feels that it gives that WOW effect on it's own.
Here is a straight on view of the card portion of this Box.
My Tip for this week is: Use your imperfect stamping to make a flower; here I have used one that I stamped and it smeared. So I simply inked up the edges and added a pearl in the center. Goes perfectly!
The pin I made myself and that big button easel stopper is actually an old earring:0) and it sits o top of a black velvet flower.

I would like to enter this project in the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - (August) Easel Card
    Craft Your Passion - Flowers
Incy Wincy Designs - Make Your Own Flowers
House of Gilli - Easel Card with Flowers

    Baby Boris Sneak Peek

Day 2 of the Paper Makeup Stamps sneaks....It is Baby Day and I get to share this cute little monster! I am following the sketch from Paper Sundaes and have decided to keep it very simple and just did a bunch of stitching. I love the sentiment that I have used it is an older one and it says "A child enters your life and fills a place in your heart you never knew was empty" LOVE it! It is a bit hard to see since I have stamped it directly on my DP but I have tried to make it stand out more by adding distressed ink right under it. Tried is the key word! I think it gives it a grungy feel to it; not sure I like it too much especially with how crisp my image is colored.
Here is a closeup of Baby Boris he will be available for sale on the 7th at our release party. I have colored him with my Copics and have tried to keep more white space; and I do like how he looks.

Before I go  here are a few details you need to know about our release....
