News, Challenge and a Tag

Hello All! I am here to share a tag, a challenge, and to bear some news. 

So first the news.

 TTT will now have terms for their DT members and we were asked if we would like to stay on the team for the first term then we would have to apply to keep our position. Now at first I thought I wanted to stay on this FAB team because it truly is FAB! But recent changes in work have taken me into a different direction. So I am sorry to share that I will not be part of Top Tip Tuesday any longer....sigh. Looking on the bright side of things; this is a great way to keep the blog active and renewed; so be on the watch out for a DT call!

 Now onto the challenge: TOP TIP TUESDAY current challenge is

 Here is a closer look at the gorgeous Fae Fairy from Delicious Doodles; I just had such a blast coloring her up and truly love how she turned out.
TIP: I have added Opaque White to the butterflies and also to her eyes as they seemed a little dark; I think it really helps to add that highlight.

Kenny K Challenge and Cards

Hello ALL! Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. Today I am here to share the new challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Krew and some of my cards that were published on June/July issue of Designed to Color.
Our theme this week is: Banners, Pennants & Bunting we want to see you use tags, flags, banners, or bunting on your creation.

This week the Krew have been playing with some fantastic New Releases from Kenny's

 

 

These images are super COOL! You just have to take a look! Oh and you will love what the DT has done with them. I do not have a card with a new image but instead I am sharing my cards that got published in Designed to Color Magazine.

 

 Here using Super Mom goes with this weeks challenge. I have done my banners with washi tape this was super fun and I just love the look.

From Pink to Blue

Hello All today I will be sharing a card that I have made for Crafter's Companion Informational Blog.

I just love the way that this card turned out and am totally loving the chisel tip on the Spectrum Noir Markers. The markers are just so juicy which makes this technique super easy.

So here is my card:0) I have used one of the image from Sheena's A Little Bit Scenic - Silhouette Grasses

 The main image is double matted and is popped out with dimensional foam.

 I have gone well outside of my image so that I could do the double matting for this card. I even had some extra left over which was used on the inside of the card.

 Here are the markers that I have used. I love how This gradient background goes from PINK to BLUE. SO pretty don't you think?

Saturated Canary Framed Trio

Hello my lovely followers:0)

Today I am here to share a creation that I have had in the works for a couple of weeks; geeze maybe even for a month now. Well I started this project colored the hair and skin but didn't know what colors I wanted for the clothes until I saw the current challenge over at Saturated Canary:0) SO here is my just for fun creation:0)

 Here is a shot with my Copic markers just so you really get an idea of how tiny these frames are:0) The images are so detailed and coloring them in such a small scale was a challenge but I think they are just DARLING! Love this project :0) If I had a little girl these would be going in her room. But I don't so if anyone is interested I can sell them; just give me a holla!

Bright Tags

Today I am sharing a set of BRIGHT Clean & Simple tags that I have made for 

Inspirational Monday over at Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog USA. 

I have kept the front clean so that you can really appreciate the beauty of this image:0) I have cordinated each tag to have matching ribbon, twine and pearls to go with the roses in each tag.

 Here is the back of my tags just running my paper through my cuttlebug with my DP and layering it. A couple of pearls in the corner finishes up the back.

 Here is a closeup of Humphrey-Flowers for You. I have colored him with my Spectrum Noir Markers.

Strawberries & Cream with Kenny K

 Hello All! Today I am here to share my card for Kenny K's Krafty Krew Challenge

the challenge this week is: Strawberries & Cream

I have made this card for my cousin who recently lost her husband due to a stroke. They were a young couple just starting out. So this is a great shock to the whole family. I wanted to send her a sympathy card but instead decided to send her an encouraging card. She needs to be strong for herself and her two kids. I really hope she likes it.

 Here is a close-up of Strong Island I have colored her with Copic Markers.

 I love that now I can make my own ENVELOBOX to go with my 6x6 cards. I use my Ultimate Tool from Crafters Companion. Seriously so easy to make!
