Hello Crafty Peeps.

I am here to share one of my last cards as part of the Crafter's Companion team. It has been super fun to be part of this team and I will miss working with such a talented, kind and caring bunch. Thanks CC for all of your generosity; I hope to have made you proud with my creations:0)

 This card is perfect for Anniversary, Valentines, or Just Because I love You. I plan on selling cards at a crafty yard sale that is coming up in January so I am building up on my Valentines Day cards. I think this is a fabulous new addition. I have used Hugs for You from the Humphrey Collection

 I have colored my image using Distressed Inks.

Humphrey on Kraft

The weather is changing and the days are getting shorter; I am loving the cooler days.
Cold weather=more snuggle time, scarves, warm blankets and more coffee!

 I am so super excited to share today's project that I have made for Crafter's Companion because seriously I had a blast creating it and it is something that I had in mind for quite some time now. 

I am sharing a one layer card embossed and colored on kraft. So here it is...

 Here is a closer look at the image Hello Rudolph from the Humphrey Collection.

 Here you can see a little bit better the embossing and what a pretty texture it gives this card. This is the 6x6 Regal Frame.

 Here is a little tip for when coloring on kraft. Jot down color on a scrap piece  of your kraft to get a good idea of how your colors will show up. 

Here are a few things that I have noticed:

-Coloring on kraft is more forgiving; hence easier to blend and harder to see mistakes= more fun!

-Bright colors look best

- Color will bleed faster, so be sure to not put too much color down

-As the alcohol evaporates(ink dries) the colors will start to look brighter. It is like magic seeing those colors show through!

 Skin: BGR3, BGR1, Blender

Reds: DR7, DR1, CR10, CR5

Greens: DG3, CG4

Rufolph: TN7, GB8, GB1/ TN8, TN7

*White is Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Marker

Baby Blue

Hello My Lovely followers!

Today I am here to share my Crafter's Companion DT card. I am using one of the older Humphrey stamps.  Okay so I fell in love with this image from the first day I laid eyes on it. The stamp set is called New Baby.

Here is my card:

 I have colored my image in all blue tones but couldn't resist giving him rose cheeks:0)

Tag and some NEWS!

Here again to share a tag and some exciting news...okay so news first cuz I just cant hold it in any longer!

I have been to asked to join the Crafter's Companion US design team and Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog team! Isn't that way totally awesome. Well I hope to make them proud.

Today I will be sharing my very first creation for the Challenge blog with the theme of Anything Goes this is a month long challenge with a $30 gift card to CC as a prize. So create anything you want using an image from Crafter's Companion; here is my creation using Welcome Little One stamp set from the A Year With Humphrey line :0)

 I know Humphrey is a boy but just look at how cute he looks in purple; this is a great unisex stamp set. I have made this tag for my niece hence the girly colors.

 Here is a closer look at Humphrey from where you can get a better view of the glitter too:0) He has been colored with DI; I really had a blast coloring this cutie up. For sure I will be doing more DI coloring:0)
