Purple Flower Heart Notebook

Hello All! Today I am here to share this cool little project that I have made as a gift for my sister in law. It is a Jr. Notepad cover with refill. Her favorite color is purple so I have decided to go all out with it!

Here is a look of the inside; I have taken a 1.5 circle punch and gone punching through the whole pad a few sheets at a time. An idea from Heidi Swapp:0)

And how I have made this notebook refillable by adding a plastic band to the inside. Here is where the flower is resting that peeks out the top.

Lastly a closeup of the flower heart:0) I have cut a heart and just covered it completely withan array of purple flowers. I think most of them are Prima.

Blue Tilda Notebook

I would like to share this project that I have made with triple purpose...Yay I do love to multi-task:0)
I have made this for the Magnolia-licious Blog Hop project in the hopes to win a mini album....which look awesome! Each lady along the hop has decorated their album and they are just way COOL! I don't own many mini's but this could be a great start...worth a shot! For my project I have gone off to look for some inspiration; and what better place than TOMIC challenge...yup I have used their sketch and the picture is just so elegant and cool that I have opted for more fancy papers and very cool blues:0) Now my last purpose for this project; is for a gift. My son picked out a note pad for his teacher and I have decided to glam it up some. So here it is, It is quite small something like 4x6. I am really happy on how it has turned out.

 Here is a closeup of Tilda with Pencils; I have given her golden hair since Mrs. Johnson has blond hair. I thought it was a nice touch:0) She is colored with Copics and then given the Shimmerz effect on her dress.

 Last here is a peek at the inside where I will have my son write a quick note to give to his teacher. I really hope she likes it and uses it!

Ride em Cowgirl!!

I made this gift trio for my dear sister...for her birthday. She loves horses and is a total cowgirl so I combined that with her favorite color (hot pink)...and this is what I came up with. It was really fun making these for her and I really do think she will love them. I made her the card, a notebook cover, and the tiny gift box.

 Here is a closeup of the card, I used Meljens digi stamp(Ride em Cowgirl) colored her with Copics. My sentiment is from Fiskars. The hot pink crocet flower was made by my Gradma (she made me a bunch, but I don't want to use them up) I only use these flowers on very special cards:) I think this card came together quite nicely.....

 And here is the closeup of the notebook cover. I kept it pretty simple, so that things won't be coming off during use. I did add the big bright pink ribbon, a die cut tag, a flourish, some dew drops, and one of my handmade pins. Everything fell right into place....don't you just love it when that happens?
