Old St. Nick

 I have been quite bad at getting my cards into the challenges that I have made them for. I love using sketches as a starting point and have been trying to use as many different stamps as possible. The following card I have made using the Sugar Bowl sketch with the theme of snow.

So here is my card using Sugar Nellie Old St. Ncik. I have sewn around the edges and also given the edges a stickle border. Papers are MME and the snowflakes are Whimsy.

Here is a closeup of Old St. Nick; Thanks Elaine; I am having loads of fun coloring these images and getting great use of them. (I won him from Elaine's candy) I have given all of the suites fluff some sparkle fluff from Our Craft Lounge. Doesn't really show on the pictures:(

Here is a little bit of a sideways view of the snowflake so that you can see how high it really is. Also a peak of the inside and back of the card. Both sentiments are from Paper Makeup Stamps. PMS NEW Challenge and DT Call!

Yep, you heard right! As you may already know, Paper Makeup Stamps offers a wonderful selection of digital images! For the past few months, and going forward, all new releases are available in the digital format. So we thought it would be fun to have a weekly challenge just using the digital images. The digital format offers so many options that are not available to users in the rubber format.

We thought it would be fun to have a weekly challenge dedicated just to digi-images. It will be the Digi Makeover Challenge! We hope to offer some ideas and occasional tutorial to help you use digi-stamps to their full potential. And, of course, there will be prizes!

The challenges will be every Monday, starting in September. So bookmark us and come back on Sept 5th for the first challenge!
Needless to say, we need a Design Team! Interested in being a Digi Makeup Artist? Here's the scoop...

•DT members will serve for a 6 month term.
•Create a card or project using a PMS digi image for each challenge
•You must have a blog
•Challenges are every Monday, so challenge photos must be uploaded to the digimakeover Yahoo group by Saturday night.
•You will be expected to comment on challenge entries.
•If you are able to provide tutorials, that's fantastic, but it is not a requirement, but sure is a plus!

Summer Picnic

Hello All; today I would like to share this card that I made. Just to play along some challenges. The stamp is from Paper Makeup Stamps it is called Picnic Duo and you can find it HERE. PMS has a big inventory reduction section and you can find this cute little stamp in that section for way too cheap! Where else can you get a deeply etched red rubber stamp for less than $3(unmounted)? They are originally fairies but I have cut them off since it was way easier to cut out without the swirls of the wings. I do like the look of them this way too. I have made a little picnic blanket for them out of DP and then just outlined it and added a tiny bit of shadows. My ticket sentiment is from Marion at When the Scrap Hits the Fun! you can find it as a freebie HERE. I have inked the edges and colored the ticket with my Copics; even the little bird got some color:0)

 Here is a bit of a slanted view and you can see that I have done the inside panel with the same papers as the outside. Something that I see so many ladies do; I just thought it would be great to use up more of the scraps instead of stuffing my scraps drawer.

Christmas in July

I absolutely have come to love making Christmas cards; I am growing my collection so when December comes around I will not have to worry about making too many more. This card came together quite easily and quickly...don't ya just love when that happens?? My silhouette is called Madelyn she is from Paper Makeup Stamps and you can find her HERE; she is available in rubber and digi and also available as image to color in.

Birthday Fishes

Hello All! I had two assignments for today and instead of doing a double post I have decided to combine the two; I am truly happy that I did because the outcome of my card has pleased me.

Today is Review Day #2 for the July Release of Paper Makeup Stamps I just love this stamp!

My second assignment is one I am very happy and honored to be part of....My very first Guest Designer spot. It is for Scrapmaster's Paradise Challenge  and here is the Combo for this week.

So here is my card! Oh I am getting totally addicted to doing the rouching ribbon, I just want to do it all the time; it is so fun and easy and it gives such a dramatic effect. Loving it!

 Here is a closeup of Jill Fairy; isn't she so adorable? I think so; she is so super cute and comes with the Birthday Fishes sentiments and you can find her HERE she is available in both digi and rubber form. I have colored her with my Copic markers and done the background clouds with my airbrush system. I love how detailed PMS stamps are and how fun and easy they are to color. At the Beach

I made this card to fit in with the NEW challenge on Paper Makeup Stamps Makeover Challenge; come join the fun for a chance to win some RUBBA!

This is Tangii; she is a fairy from PMS; and she is taking a walk on the beach. Hope that qualifies for the Nautical Theme :) The cardstock has been embossed with some dots all over; finally got some sewing done on a card and so happy I did! Topped it off with some ribbon and a pin!

 You might not even notice this but...check out her nose....I am so proud of it...LOL. Never really thought that I could do that, and now I look at everyones nose, including stamped noses....hehehe. Check out Katie's video on where she shows how to do this using your Copics.

Here is my card for today; I am using Emma Silhouette, oh such a fun image. I never thought that it would be so fun working with a silhouette! I stamped her onto vellum and then embossed it. I love that bumpy effect that it turned out with and how the vellum allows the multi-toned background to show through. You can find Emma at the PMS Shop after the release party! The sentiment is also from PMS and I think it is perfect for so many different themed projects; you can get it free with your purchase ***while supplies last!

 Here is a closeup of Emma Silhouette and my flower bunch. I added Stickles to my flowers and leafs...really hope it is not overkill...LOL!

PMS Sneak of July Release

Hello All! Today I would like to give you a sneak peek of the release that will come out on July 7th.

Here is my card using "Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted" this sentiment is part of the Be Still sentiment set that will be available on the 7th at Paper Makeup Stamps. I kept my card fairly simple since I really did want this sentiment to stand out; truly think it worked : ) My papers are from PTI and my great flower made using tattered flowers die TH.

I have used  Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 55; and will be entering this card in their challenge. Also entering it in DDH Challenge - 2W - Handmade Flowers

Here is my card; I love those great big quotes; I was glad to be able to use that big flower that was airbrushed then added spika pen glitter with the airbrush such a nice effect; topped off with that big-o-button!
