Yellow Dressed Rupunzel

Today I felt the urge to play with one of my Sassy girls; and so I chose Rupunsel. I looked up a few of my favorite challenges; and this is what I came up with.

I decided to go very soft on her hair and skin and give her deep green eyes. You can find the Copic colors I used below. I then used my Airbrush to do the background with BV04 then with Y13 went around and gave it that border. I was really lazy and thought that I could kinda not spray the image....BIG mistake! I got some over spray on her face and dress. So then I had to go back with my colors and try to minimize that over spray. Next time for sure I will do a mask and get a lot closer to the image.

Summer Love

I had been wanting to play with these stamps for a long time. I am so glad to have finally get the chance:). They are so adorable...love that puckering Edwin and the shyness of Tilda. Oh they are so, so cute! I decided to have a go at one of those side step cards; and I will admit that I did not get it on the first try. So don't know if I will try again anytime soon.

I knew I wanted to do a summer love card and was went out to find some nice quotes. Not only did I find this fab quote but I found it as a freebie at Sentimental Sunday....Double caching!! I embellished my card with this Love metal heart, and some golden ribbon, also added that pretty little rosebud :), last I added my dew drops that I can't live without and found these precious tiny buttons in my stash. Altogether super happy with my card :0)

My images were colored with Copics...what else! I decided to go out and try some new hair and skin combinations.(Using Janiel Corley's color combos as inspiration; as I did not have her exact colors) You can find the colors I used below.

Criss Cross Freezing Willow

 Today I would like to share this Criss Cross Christmas card. There is an awesome tutorial on Tip Top Tuesday by Annette. I really enjoyed making this card, It is my first criss cross card. It was easy...so go check out TTT and make one yourself!

Thank You Notepads

So I have been very busy making these Jr. Notepads for my boss. She want to send them as thank you gifts. She asked me if I could make a few and I said yes. Then she said that she needed 40; yes FOUR ZERO! So; I got really busy and am past half way. I have made multiples of each and here are the ones I have done so far. I think they are pretty cute; I am also making little cards to go with each notepad.

Corvette Birthday

Hey yall, today I want to share this super simple card that I made for my Dad for his birthday. He has a thing for Corvette's so I thought I would give him one on his special day : )

I colored the Vette with my Copics then added shimmers for a sparkly paint! Can you see that this car has a red leather interior?? The border is leather one that i stretche in the middle; not so squared huh.

This digi is called A day at the races by Eric Dull; I got it as a freebie and here is the link. I colored it with my Copics and am truly happy on how it came out. I kept this card simple since I wanted the image to stand out.

Okay; so I left my camera at my parents house this weekend and had to use my phone to take my pictures for today. So not too shabby for phone pictures...right?

Today I would like to share this card with you all; I just felt an urge to use a Magnolia image today:) It's a long post today...so hope you read through it...or at least see my pictures:)

Here is a closeup of my sitting Tilda; I colored her with Copics, then added stickles to her pink bow, spica pen to her yellow bows and undershirt, and shimmerz blings to her pink dress. Just look at all that shimmer! I also had an attempt at the flower clusters with a mix of my stash and WOC. I couldn't resist topping off the cluster with a pin of my very own:)

 My sentiment was created by my new friend Marion and is a freebie on her blog...I asked her if she would do some sentiments in Spanish; and she agreed....isn't she great? I know!! I don't have a project to share today since I was away for the weekend and spent almost all day yesterday in the Urgent Care with my sick little 4yr old. By the time I got home; I was exhausted.

Vintage Rose

Hello, I would like to share this card that I made especially for the Copic Creations 2yr. Blogoversary. The theme was Vintage/Distressed with Copics. I immediately thought of this stamp that I got in a thrift shop for really cheap :) don't you just love a bargain? It is by PSX; I colored it with my Copics...of course:) I tried making it a little more vintage by adding W1 to the white space in the rose petals to give it a softer look. I also used a lot of W5, W3 throughout the image to give it a more distressed look. I was pretty happy with the results. I used the challenge sketch from Paper Pretties; and will be entering this card in both challenges.

 Here are the Copics I used. I don't think I have ever used such few markers.....LOL.

Ride em Cowgirl!!

I made this gift trio for my dear sister...for her birthday. She loves horses and is a total cowgirl so I combined that with her favorite color (hot pink)...and this is what I came up with. It was really fun making these for her and I really do think she will love them. I made her the card, a notebook cover, and the tiny gift box.

 Here is a closeup of the card, I used Meljens digi stamp(Ride em Cowgirl) colored her with Copics. My sentiment is from Fiskars. The hot pink crocet flower was made by my Gradma (she made me a bunch, but I don't want to use them up) I only use these flowers on very special cards:) I think this card came together quite nicely.....

 And here is the closeup of the notebook cover. I kept it pretty simple, so that things won't be coming off during use. I did add the big bright pink ribbon, a die cut tag, a flourish, some dew drops, and one of my handmade pins. Everything fell right into place....don't you just love it when that happens?
