Okay so I have been super busy with a little work rush and still working on my baby birth announcements, that I have not had a chance to work on anything else. But I just couldn't resist inking up this Sassy Girl. I just got her in the mail the other day. After seeing them everywhere; I just had to snatch up a few of these Sassy girls for myself! I just love their big eyes and hair. I like how you can even do an eyeshadow on them......Super CUTE! Here is the card that I ended up with by following the Sketch for Sugar Bowl #59 Challenge. I will also be entering this card in the Simon Says Challenge: Paper Piecing or Piercing.
Here is a close up of my coloring... I really had fun coloring. Her hair took me forever to do but I was happy with the results. I used my Copics and Rose Prisma color pencil for her cheeks. I really like how subtle her blush is, and it is so easy to get this effect with the color pencils. Here is a pix of the colors that I used.....that's a lot of blues!
Wow this is gorgeous!!Thanks for playing with the Sugar Bowl sketch!!
