Here is a card that I made just for a Baby Girl. I'm not sure for who it will be, but I haven't done a girl card in quite some time. This image I stamped from my cousin Patty (thanks girl!); so I'm not sure of the name, but I know its a Magnolia stamp.
Here is a close up of the colored image and the little yellow flower (I made) and heart pin (I also made). I used the spellbinders small circle die to cut out the baby image using pop out technique. I really like using this technique for my sitting girls. It is something new to me; but I know I will be using it lots. I like the look; it's quick and easy!Wednesday, April 27, 2011

Mr. Hedgehog with Umbrella
I had been wanting to use this stamp ever since I got it, (probably over a year ago) shame on me....I know!
It is from Stampavie, Tina Wenke. Such a cute little guy! I think my coloring makes him look extra plump....hope he doesn't mind.
Here are the colors I used, I also used Prisma color pencil Rose for his cheeks.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
Fussy and Fancy: Springtime
Simon Says Challenge: Emboss it!
Sketch Saturday: Week #152

Trying New Things
Okay, so I wanted to try a few new things. One, the image is a free digi I got from the Greeting Farm this is Easter Ian. I have been visiting Free Digital Stamps they lists a bunch of free digis with links to them. I have become addicted to getting them and now I'm glad to have used one.
Check out my clouds....I think they look pretty good for being my first time trying this technique. If you step back and squint your eyes they look better :). I used B00, B000, N3, N1 and colorless blender. I got the technique from watching a youtube video, but I think I should watch the video once more, and keep on trying. If you would like to see the video follow this link.
Last it is the first time I doodle grass to ground my image....it is not hard at all, but I have always been afraid to try. I am afraid I will ruin it and throw my coloring to waste.

Another Easter Card
Here is another card that I made for Easter. I have never sent out cards for Easter but I think this is a good year to start. I enjoy making them and hope my loved ones will enjoy receiving them.
Now I am off to send these babies out, so me peeps can get them in time.
I will also be entering this card in the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge: # 19--Easter & Spring!
Here is a close up of Tilda with Chickens from the Magnolia Easter Collection. Colored with Copics...like I have come to do just about every time for my images.
With this card I have tried to use as much of my scraps as possible. I don't throw any piece of paper away and wanted to make my scraps drawer just a little lighter. Now I am off to send these babies out, so me peeps can get them in time.

Hello! Tilda
Here is another of my Easter cards that I am doing. I just wish I could have more time to do one for each of the people that I love.
I began by shaping the card with Tim Holts Alterations: Plaque on both sides. I also shaped the patterned papers and offsetting them just a bit to create the border. The image I used is HELLO! TILDA from the Magnolia Hoppy Easter Collection; oh she is so cute and of course I colored her with my copics. The sentiment and cardstock are both from Papertrey Ink. The pearls and swirls are from want to scrap, I just love to layer my prima flowers, this color combination makes me smile. I just love looking at them. And with the stickles making them all shinny...well....even more.
Here is a close up of the flowers.....I kinda did go kinda crazy with the stickles.

And now off I go to try and do one more Easter card. :)

The sentiment I did on my computer; since it is so hard to find sentiments in Spanish.......if anyone knows of where I can find some; please let me know. This is a constant struggle for me.
I made this Easter card to with Tilda with flower in her hair. I colored her with copics, oh I just love my copics so much!!!

Here is a closer view of Tilda, I have been trying to color with the light colors, but I always end up with something a lot darker than what I intended. None the less I still love her and am happy with her cute color of her dress.

The First
So, this is new for me. I am not very sure on how good I will be about postings and keeping up with the blog; but thought it was worth a try. The main reason for making this blog was so that I could enter card making challenges, and share my craft creations.
Making cards makes me happy!
